Harvesting On Steep Slopes

It can be difficult to safely harvest trees on steep slopes. Over the years, safety has vastly improved thanks to technology. More and more often, logs can be harvested from the safety of heavy equipment rather than having to hand-cut with a chainsaw. Once logs are cut, cable logging enables them to be airlifted to a landing area to be processed. There are even heavy-duty drones that can assist in the process!
